Wifi Extender for Nighthawk AX2700

Hi guys I have the Night Hawk 3.1 AX2700 router/modem. I am using it through xfinity and have speeds around 230 mbps.

My garage is about 150 feet away from my modem/router with a couple walls in the way. There is somewhat useable signal that reaches the garage but I would like it to be better.

There's so many types of wifi extenders and I don't understand which one would be best with my router/modem. I could run a ethernet cord to it from the router/modem too if that would help.

Any suggestions?

(Sorry if this has been posted, I searched by couldn't find specific info)

If you can hardwire in an extender, thats going to give you your best speed. Otherwise you'd want to put it midway between the router and the garage. Netgears AX extenders are the EAX12, EAX15, EAX20, EAX80.

An AC extender would work as well if you're not needing/wanting an AX one. I'd recommend the triband line of those.

Thank you, I'll be taking a look at those EAX models and see if they seem better than the AC
