When you buy a wifi modem http://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/cable-modems-routers/
Do you get unlimited wifi? For example, can you use forever. Does it have a limit like you can only use it for 1 year.

There is no limit to how much Wi-Fi you can use, but there may be a limit to how much data you may use through your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
According to the tech specs, the C7000 is a DOCSIS 3.0 24x8 channel bonding cable modem. Each upstream channel is capable of up to 27 Mbps, so 8 upstream channels are theoretically capable of 217 Mbps. Your ISP and your Internet plan ultimately determines how many channels are used.
You should always check that the modem will work with your ISP.
