WILL THIS ROUTER AC 5300 ROUTER WORK WITH AC 1900 CABLE MODEM
I HAVE NIGHTHAWK AC1900 CABLE MODEM C7000, IS NIGHTHAWK X8 AC5300 WORK WITH MY AC1900 IF YES WHAT IS MY ADVANTAGE IF I DID I HAVE LARGE HOME LOTS DEVICE ARE CONNECTED TO IT
You could use the X8 as an Access Point to expand the Wi-Fi coverage in your house. But you must connect it to the C7000 with either an Ethernet cable or a Powerline network. The X8 will not work well as a wireless range extender.
