Wired Connection a lot slower than 5G WiFi
I've been running into a weird issue where my wired download speeds are much lower than my 5G WiFi speeds. When I hardwire the router to my laptop, it says the connection is the same name as the 2.4G...

You lost me on that. Left/right? In any case, I didn't realize how
lame the Ethernet indicators were on that gizmo. (On the D7000 or
R7000, they're better.) Probably more useful to ask Windows (if that's
your OS) about its Ethernet port link rate.

That's nice, but if the cable is bad (in the right way), then you
could get a link rate of only 100MHz.
I don't have a Windows system up at the moment, so I know nothing,
but perhaps an "ipconfig /all" report would reveal something.

I've tried countless different cables as well, all of the cat7 variety. The ipconfig command hasn't helped either. I guess I'll just suffer and use wifi lol.
