Xfinity/Comcast - CAX80 - Wifi speed went from 400 to 40 after newest firmware (help!)

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
What wifi devices are you using?
What wifi freqency are the devices connecting too?
Is Smart Connect enabled?
What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Thanks. To answer your questions, below:
Yes, I did a hard reset while on the support line with Netgear. We also tried changing the channels. None of that worked unfortunately, and their "answer" was that I'm on the wrong firmware when compared to their list of firmwares by ISP provider (it says Xfinity CAX80 should be on RG: V2.1.2.6.).
Same issue whether I'm uisng 2.4 or 5 (in that it's noticably slower than it should be/was).
Devices - Dell laptop - speed test at 45.7mpbs
Gaming desktop at same range
Using the Nighthawk app as admin with my iphone, it shows speeds of ~330 to ~380mpbs
There is typically 0 to 3 other wifi networks "in range" at any point in time.
