Zoom Issues
Actual modem router is AC1900 C6300BD
Have been getting dropouts on Zoom when using my MAC desktop. Zoom pop-up says its intermittent network connection.
Desktop is set up to use the 2.4 WIFi connection as are all the other devices (iphones, 3 ROKU's, another desktop) in my house are.
I am thinking of changing the MAC to the 5.0 wifi channel on the router (yes I have two channels availible on the router). Will my router work both bands simultaneously?
Other option is to go hardwired and hook the Mac by ethernet to the router.
Your thoughts?
BTW my Cox cable internet speed is fine so that is not the issue.

use the 5ghz.
2.4ghz is a slower network and more sensitive to interference than 5ghz.
So use the 5ghz.
If that doesn't help, then use the wired connection.
If that doesn't help, it could be a speed/modem issue
