Netgear Genie Authentication Problem

When logging via a browser I can access my router. If I try via iPhone or iPad genie app I get th message "login failed. Please enter in the correct Admi password".  Password gives access via the browser but not the app. I can even access the router via the iPhone and IPad browsers but not the genie app 

  • With the new App update to version 2.4.38 the problem has been resolved.

    Hi Jonnoza,

     

    Please try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. If the issue persists, please reboot the router and try logging in through the app again.

      Have done all of the above. Waited for a Genie app update, hoping this would solve the problem. Factory reset of router.

      I can access the router with PC, iPad, iPhone using a web browser. But the Genie app will not accept the same password that is used to access the router using a browser.
