Additional adapter for Powerline 500 + WiFi (XWNB5201)
Hi
I have a XAV5201 connected to my router and a XWN5001 in another room for WiFi use.
I want to add another extender in another room as the wifi is also bad in there.
I am just finding it confusing trying to find which model to buy.
There are so many choices and I am worried about buying the wrong part.
can someone please be specific with which model/s are best?
Thanks

Powerline devices are compatible if they are "HomePlug AV compliant", like the XWNB5201.You can add any plugs that take your fancy. Even different makes will work together.
Be warned that the Powerline network will operate at the speed of the slowest plugs, but for most people that doesn't matter.
Also follow these instructions to introduce new plugs to an existing network:

Hi slamminhammo52,
If you are satisfied with the performance of your XWN5001, then you can purchase the same model.

Thanks james, however that product does seem to be available any more, or if it is I am having difficulty finding it.
Is there a later version now?
thanks
