    It depends.

     

    What are you using to view the network? What plugs do you have?

     

    The desktop Netgear genie – not the smartest software around – has a separate entry for powerline networks.

     

    If you have plugs with a wifi access point, then it will show as a wifi link. If they are simply wired then they appear as LAN in the genie. The genie is worth investigating if you want to control the plugs.
