Extending my PLW1000 network

I have a powerline 1000 wireless system, which is working well.  Am I able to purchase additional 'end' units to the system to run from the socket connected to my router?

Am I limited to a two-unit system (Unit A connected to the router feeding Unit B), or can I add an additional end unit (Unit A feeds Units B and C via the power network of my house)?  If so, could you tell me which model number I would require?

You can add new plugs to your existing network. You need just a single plug connected to the router. That will act as the host for all the others on the network.

You can mix and match plug speeds, and even different brands, but when you add new plugs it is important to follow these instructions:

Unfortunately, none  of the plug makers seem to sell single plugs so you will have to buy them in pairs.

I would like to formally request that the PLW1000 adapter be sold individually for the purpose of extending an established Powerline 1000 network.

To sell them only as a bundled pack is both a waste of resources and money.

If you want Netgear to see this request, put it into the area of this forum that exists for that purpose:

Remember, you don't have to use Netgear plugs to extend your Powerline network. If you can find a maker that sells single plugs, you can buy from them.
