How to install two adapters (PLW1000v2) to Powerline WIFI 1000

Hi.

Is it possible to have 2 outputs (PLW1000v2) with the Powerline WIFI1000?

Best Regards Bente

  • That should work but you will not be able to buy a single PLW1000 plug. Like most powerline suppliers, Netgear sells them as bundles with two plugs. So you will end up with a spare "base" plug. You could use that for something else like a smart TV.

Remember, when adding a plug to an existing powerline network, you need to follow this:

    >>> Adding a powerline adapter to an existing powerline network <<<

Thank you. Then I will stop looking for a single plug.:smileyhappy:

Do you have a 'recipe’ on how to use the "base" plug with a smart TV?

If the Smart TV has a LAN port, then you just connect the TV to the plug with a LAN cable and configure the TV to use a wired connection. Once done, that's it.
