Lost internet connections after "upgrade" to cable modem
We switched ISP's today and now have a cable modem provided by Charter/Spectrum (Arris TM1602). The modem is connected to a Netgear ethernet switch (G5605), and my main powerline adapter is also connected to that switch. We have three other adapters in the house which sync with that main one (or did until today). I have tried resetting the modem, the switch, and factory resetting all powerline adapters with no luck. I also have a laptop plugged directly into the switch which is able to access the internet without issue. Any ideas?
Thanks for your reply. The TM1602 is modem only. When I added a (Netgear!) router, my problem was solved.

Hi jrasmussen,
1. Is the Arris TM1602 a modem and a router as one?
2. What is the IP address of the laptop when connected to the switch?
