My XWN5001 has stopped connecting to my XAV5201
i have had my netgear powerline av 500 for a while now and has only just stoppe working because of a thing i was told to do. I was told to factory reset both my devices and now they wont connect to one another? i have looked everywhere and done most things but i cant fix it? someone help asap please.

You'll have to set up the network from scratch.
There is a manual for the device somewhere at the end of this link:

It should be straightforward if these plugs came as a bundle. But it may be more complicated if they were separate purchases.
Then again, if the reset was supposed to fix a problem, perhaps the plugs, or one of them, are dead.
