netgear powerline setup confusion PLW1000-100UKS
hello
i'm considering buying this:
https://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/powerline/PLW1010.aspx
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01B4X4W6O
I have 4 rooms, and I want 5G in each room, all connected to a single powerline adaptor plugged into the router.
I assumed I would need 4 wifi adaptors and 1 ethernet adaptor
but netgear doesn't explain multiple setups very well.....
it does say on amazon: "use multiple adapters to expand your wired network reliably"
but I can't find where to buy single wifi adaptors.
so I'm now confused......
does each wifi adaptor require a seperate ethernet adaptor plugged into router?
Thanks

You can't. Netgear, like most makers of powerline kit, does not sell singletons.

Only if you live in a mansion with huge distances between rooms. Most people manage to fill a house without any need for extra wifi sources. Their router/modem does the job.
First see if your router/modem is good enough.
If there are any wifi "not spots", you should be able to fill them with a single powerline access point somewhere in the property, probably where the router's wifi begins to fade.

No. One plug can feed a network of other plugs, you just have to set it up properly.
