PL1000 LEDs

Is there any way to turn the LEDs off?  I can do it on my 500 via the Powerline utility but that utility won't recognize later generation PLs like the PL1000.  Will this feature be available on Genie?  Any opinion on taping the LEDs shut - ok to do that?

  • The Genie app normally takes a little while to catch up when new adapters are launched, but I would have thought you will be able to like most of their other adapters.

As for taping up, LEDs don't generate a great deal of heat so should be ok if you use electrician's tape, just make sure you don't close off any heat vents when doing so
