PLP1000 with Apple Router
I have one PLP1000 plugged into an outlet near my router and a second PLP1000 in another bedroom. They are connected and work fine. No matter what I do (factory reset, press security key button), I can't get a third adapter (PLP1000) connected. I've tried even plugging in the 3rd adapter in an outlet right next to the one connected to the router and all I get is a power LED.
Does the adapter do anything when you press the reset button? Any lights blink or anything? Nothing happens when I do the reset or the key buttons.
I can't use Genie because it keeps wanting me to log into the router and i'm using an apple router and not a netgear router.
Due to how my house is layed out, I have to use powerline adapters, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Did you find this?
>>> Adding a powerline adapter to an existing powerline network <<<
Is that what you have done?

Yes, I did try that.
I was able to get another adapter to connect but was not easy. The adapter does not give any indication that a reset was done (led's don't blink or anything).
Seems that the farther I get from the first adapter (connected to the router), the worse the connection speed is (not sure how that works since each room would be a separate circuit back to the breaker panel). Rooms right next to the first adapter get a gig (green led), two rooms over the light turns orange and farther out it goes red.
This normal?

As you say, it depends on the wiring.
The good things is that once you have established the link between the source (router) plug and the (host) one you are setting up, you can move the host and it will remember the settings. No need to set it up yet again.
