PLW1000v2 Wi-Fi speed rating
Hi,
Im wondering if anyone knows the actual wifi speed rating of the PLW1000v2 wifi adapter that comes in the kit? It is dual band N+AC but what are the speeds? Is it N300 + AC450 for example making it "AC750"? You can easily see Netgear state the powerline speeds of 1000 Mbps but that is referring to the theoretical throughput of the wired poerline connection? What is the wifi speed?
Any help would be appreciated as i cant seem to find this info anywhere.

This is one of those questions best thrown into the wider world. Netgear just works to the international standards for wifi.
And, of course, real world experience will be at variance with what the standards say. They are just too many local variables for anything to be able to achieve those theoretical limits.

This is not really an answer.. I just want to know the speed rating per my question. Surely this is fairly easy to answer?It is an answer. You just have to read what you wrote and tie the two together.
The Data Sheet for the PLW1000 says "IEEE® 2.4 GHz/5 GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac wireless interface".

The "1000" refers to the wired Ethernet speed. But you knew that already.
Unfortunately, I doubt if Netgear is likely to show us the wifi speeds that it gets in its own lab tests.
