Powerline 1200 node doesn't power up

Hoping to find that here's a simple solutio! - I purchased the PL1200 months ago, just got around to connecting it due to outlet config / access. One of the nodes ( connected to the TV) powers up fine.  The primary node that connects to the router doesn't indicate any power in - no lights at all.  I tried the factory reset, no change.  Could I have a bum node out of the box? Hope not, as this project has already gone on longer than anticipated.

Thanks for the assisatnce.

    Hi Butch65,

    Welcome to Community!

You can try to swap positions of the two nodes. If still the same behavior then it might be a hardware problem.

      Thanks, James.

I tried that, as well as several different outlets around the house just for fun!  No power to the extender. I called the help line and they tried to convince me that they needed to update my firmware and config of my system for the unit to power up - and if that did fix it I would be on th hook for a 2 year sevice agreement  costing $149.99.

I'm returning the unit and will try another....

        Butch65,

If it did not work, you can replace it from the store where you purchased it since it might be defective.
