I am having the same problem. Doesn't Netgear answer these forums?! The only information that I have found to be helpful is in http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/XAU2511/XAU2511_UM_16OCT2012.pdf?cid=wmt_netgear_organic. Check on page 26 on how to use the Genie. This is the only place that I've found this documentation.

Hi bjgirdwood,

1. How far is the 1st adapter from the 2nd adapter?

2. Can you connect it on the same room to check if it will work.
