Powerline Netgear 1000 pick a plug slow green flash

Hi, my Powerline 1000 losses connection about once a week. When this happens the pick a plug flashes green every 5 seconds or so. Not flashing like data is going through it, but a slow flash. I can’t find reference to that in the manual - any ideas? Both other lights remain solid green.

    Looks like something maybe disrupting the mains link between the plugs.

      Thanks, once the Xmas lights go away I’ll do some detective work. It was fine for 5 years but a few months ago it started dropping about once a week. So I bought new Netgear 1000 to see if it was just the original plugs getting old but it made no difference. The only thing that has changed is that I have bought a new PC and NAS drive for my office (which is where the dropping Netgear plug is located).
