Powerline PLP2000 Very Slow
I just installed 1 pair of PLP2000 on my network. This is my first time using them. One is connected to my router LAN Port. The other one I have connected to my laptop for testing. When I run speed t...

I'm having the same issue with the speed. Plugging the computer directly into the router I'm getting ~950 mbps download on speed test. Using powerline I'm getting only ~230 mbps. The two units are on the same circuit close to each other. Is there some setting or firmware we need to update to for it to reach gigabit speeds?
The Lights are green on both units. When connecting to the Powerline 2000s, my network adapter does show it is connected at 1 gig settings but obviously it is not working anywhere close to 1 gig speeds.

MoonDragn , sadly I gave up on these Powerline devices. I have 3 MOCA Adapters in the house and consistently get 900Mbps across the network.I keep the powerline devices for a convenience benefit, if there is a spot where I want CAT5/6 connection and there is no COAX port in that area.

R1200RT Yeah, unfortunately I am not getting the bonded moca speeds in the house. There probably is a splitter somewhere that needs to be replaced. I get only 530ish mbps through the coax. I was hoping the powerlines would give me a better performance but they are even worse.

MoonDragn , that 530Mbps is definitely good. Anything about 200Mbps is MOCA 2.0 and not MOCA 1.1. Bonded requires all MOCA adapters to be MOCA 2.0 and your splitters all need to support up to 2Ghz. I was fortunate enough that all my COAX terminated in the attic and that is where I installed an 8 port 2Ghz splitter. Yah, it's disappointing that the powerline stuff just has never really lived up to the promise of high speeds....I guess a lot of users find the convenience enough value.
