Powerline PLW1000v2 "no valid IP address"
Have installed one of these, initiall I got it working and it ran well, very fast, but it stopped working this morning. I have all the correct lights according to the manual, I have Wifi but no internet on laptop, shows Connected, secured but no internet access.
Get the same on my phone (Samsung Android) but with "no valid IP address" message
Have tried the following;
Reset router
Tried different LAN ports on router
Pressed security buttons on Netgear devices (one connected to router, one up at other end of house) within a minute of each other
Power reset both Netgear devices
When I log into my router it shows the PLW1000v2 with an IP address of 192.168.1.67 and MAC 94:18:65:34:D5:5E, but I still have no connection over it.

That could be down to the laptop. Windows is great at blocking access to new networks. Try telling it "Private" network.
Windows 10?
- Network and Internet settings
- Network Status
- Change Connection Properties
- Network Profile
- Private
Windows 11?
- Network and Internet settings
- Ethernet
- Properties
- Private
On the Samsung, is it a new one? They have taken to using the "security" move of creating random Mac addresses, along the same lines as Apple:

It was working on the same laptop prior to this (and has now randomly started working again several hours later)
The Samsung is about 3-4 years old. Partners Samsung tablet and phone also werent connecting yesterday
Powerlines are plugged directly into power sockets at both ends

So it is fixed now? With no intervention on your part?
