Trouble with PLP2000 connected to ARRIS Model DG3450

I connected the PLP2000 to the Arris unit then placed three PLP2000's in three other separate rooms of the house, pressed the connect button on the main PLP then ran through the house and pressed the button on the others. Turned off the wifi on my laptop and connected it through ethernet cable from PLP and this worked. Called internet provider to ask how to turn off wifi, they explained that I need to do this from the internet and they turned this off for me. I could not get television to work with wi fi off. I have the ether net cable plugged into the ether net port of the television and into the plp. Any advice will be very helpful

If it all worked before they "turned off the wifi", it makes me suspicious that they didn't just turn off the wifi but switched your device over to a modem only mode type thing

That's really odd. Beyond setting up the connection, it shouldn't be down to your ISP to control what happens on your network.

Here's what one of the ISPs says:

Launch a web browser, such as Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari etc. Type 192.168.0.1 into the address bar and press Enter. The Login page should open if you are connected to the home networking modem.

Then you should be able to control the gateway's WiFi

Just another user with time on their hands.
