Thank You for replying !!
The far adapter thats plugged into the outlet has both green lights lit for the power and network, but the one (main) adapter that connects to the router and the power outlet has a green light for the power and a blue light for wireless connectivity.
Thank you again,
rick h.

Thank you for the .pdf file! The fact that the main adapter has a blue light, honestly it is blue, where it should be green or amber or orange is strange. I tried looking up in NETGEAR'S Document Libraries and FAQ other libraries and have not found anything about the why the light is blue, Do you know?
Thanks ahead of time and sorry i didn't add this to prior.

Please, Can Anyone Help?

The blue light denotes Wi-fi ( has a ((.)) sign underneath it )
Why have you got the Wi-fi Unit connected to the router ? If your aim is to have Wi-Fi in the garage then that unit needs to be in the Garage. This unit has horizontal lights. The other unit (smaller of the two) should be connected to your router to provide the powerline connection to your Wi-fi unit. This smaller unit has vertical lights.
Hope this helps

Thank You So Much. GOD BLESS You Brother!!
Reversed the devices and it works. To answer your question about why I had what where .. that is how I was told to do it by the place where I bought it. I know I'm still a dummy who frequently experiences Crainal Gas Passages (brainfarts umongous) for listening to them but this was the manager who, as I was told, was an accomplished and very edumacated wizard of the electron arts. A senior IT Technican in a prior life that had many, many years of networking experience prior to working at that store. And I was assured that he confirmed that there was no one else on the crassy knoll. It's all my fault. Just didnt connect the dots in time to save my sanity is my only defense. And that is shakey at best. In hindsight I did think of something... If he really is that good then why is he working at that low min wage store? Anyhowz - let me no longer dwell in the past.
I am trying to setup the wireless security so I can connect wirelessly to the www when I use IE and or Chrome. I cannot connect nor sucessfully open the browzers .. IE or Chrome. It goes on to tell me to check connections and reboot my router. I did that (several times) and I still have no connection when i click on the browzer to go web surfing. However I can click on and open E-Bay or Amazon or NASCAR Live or even the local News.
I think I should reset both the adapter and the AP to factory 'default settings' and redo the WPA security sync. Because as it stands, I have great WiFi signals but ZERO WiFi security. The NETGEAR_EXT channel has zero security. Reset the router and there was no change of the www connectivity or the security issues. Nodda - Zip - Nuttin .. after restting the router.
My gut is telling me this is not a router issue. My router sees the NETGEAR adapter and it works. I am leaning more towards the phone itself or the security on the AV NetGear units as the problem. I have not loaded NetGear Genie to my computer nor have I reset the NetGear adapters to Factory Defaults. Which I think I should do but wanted to run my thoughts through you first.
Should I install the Genie on my desktop? -- Or install it on the Phone? What do you think I should do to get my WiFi security up and running?
Right now, unless I unplug or turn off the WiFi adapter, I have an open and unsecure network access point for o anyone near my garage.
Would greatly appreciate any guidance and want to Thank You again for your help.
