upgrading firmware with Netgear Genie
Hi there ! :)
I saw a recent firmware upgrade fot my XWNB5602 Powerline units ; so I follwed this link : https://kb.netgear.com/26865/XWN5001-XWNB5201-XWNB5602-Firmware-Version-0-4-1-1
Now, there is just one problem : in Netgear Genie I DO NOT HAVE the tabs Maintenance > Firmware Upgrade :( I wish I could show you proof with a screenshot, unfortunately it's not possible :/ Quite surprising as I I have the latest version on the software ! (2.2.27.1)
So how am I meant to upgrade the firmware ?!! It's not possible will the dowloaded file as it's an image file meant to be uploaded with Netgear Genie.

By Netgear Genie, I am referring to the sofrware version 2.2.27.1 ; obviously, there must be also a web version.
Anyway, I eventually managed to upgrade using the XWN5001 web access :)
I didn't have access previously because (something I hadn't mentioned) my powerline units weren't connected correctly ; besides I forgot upgrade could be done with the powerline webpage :P
Anyway, I can now close the topic, the problem is solved :)

Netgear likes to confuse us all by using the genie name for several different things.
Which one are you using?
