WLAN via Powerline

Hi, I already run some PL adaptors like XAV2501 and need WLAN in a other room - extender does not work so I like to buy a PL WLAN adaptor.

I think the XAVN2001 is not longer available so XWN5001 should be the right one? Will it work with my old ones with lower bitrate?

And, I already have PL up an running so I dont like to buy the kit, only the adaptor for WLAN...is also only this one availbale?

    They are both HomeplugAV compliant so will work together.  The units will simply just work up to a maximum of their transfer rates.  Netgear have a few wireless adapters (as do other manufacturers).  With the latest firmware i've always found the XWN5001 to be a solid performer
