Xavb5221 picking up my neighbours network
So when I have my powerline adapters connected to my hub and I try log into my hub I can't because it picks up my neighbours hub, when I unplug the powerline adapters I can log.
Also when using the adapters the WiFi on the hub is very slow actally it's unusable.
I've had a replacement hub from plusnet thinking as that what was the problem but when I was changing it from the old hub this is when I noticed that it was the adapters that was some how connecting to my neighbours hub.
I've no idea how this could be happening as my house and his have separate wiring and own electric meters.
So to round it up when I'm using the adapters my hub WiFi is unusable, I cant log into my hub because the adapters make me try to log into my neighbours hub and neighbours devices are connected.
Also the hub passwords have been changed just incase he had hacked my hub but it made no difference.
Any help appreciated thanks.

Have you tried running Netgear Genie when connected to your powerline adapters. Are you able to take screenshots to show what (and how) you are connected to your neighbours kit ?
Even if you are connected to your neighbour's home wiring (which does sound unlikely) have you changed the encryption keys on your adapters ? This will stop you connecting to your neighbour's adapters.

Thanks for the possible options and ideas. Since 2012 I have been using XAVB101 on the same wiring system and with no changes to configurations perfectly well without problems. I recently moved to XAVB5221 as the 101s burned out and the problems started.
The wifi extenders are hard wired. one to the Router hub, the other to a Slingbox. and it has been so for the last 4 years. No change there. Furthermore we are into seperate houses with different wiring and different meters.
