I've had the a6209 for about a year with windows 8 ... It just randomly drops sometimes never figured out why. I talked to there tech help once but it was never fixed then my warranty ran out so i just dealt with it. I've always looked for a solution but never found one and just dealt with it. I know they have a windows 8 driver but that still didn't help me either. Just my 2 cents GL !
