A solution to A6210 no work in usb3.0

Known issues with netgear official driver (version 34):

1.When the master is ETRON & ASMedia &NEC(My old computer ) technology USB 3.0 Host control devices are always running in the U2 model

2.Can't work in another of my new computer (asus motherboard Z170-A),because the adapter often broken network。

Solution:

Open the driver's home (China) or ralink's website, download the latest released on December 15, MTK network card drive, file name ralink_usb_wlan_51250_whql, waiting for the installation is complete. Because this version is the male version of the driver, the system does not automatically recognize the network card. Don't worry, enter the device manager, find a6210 adapter (yellow exclamation mark), right click update (installed) drive, browse for driver manually, find the list of MTK AC adapter driver, choose to install.

Now,A6210 adapter can stability under usb3.0 whit my NEC usb master

Because I don't have more time to test my new computer (asus motherboard Z170-A),I don't know if it is to solve the problem of adapter is often broken network.

Hope that the official update as soon as possible, tks.

In the end, apologize for my poor English, because I come from China.

    Hi yjjstc,

Did you mean that the adapter when installed on your computer with USB 3.0 port it only uses the 2.0 instead of 3.0 using the official driver?

Yes. My old computer‘s USB3.0 chip is NEC. The adapter can't work in 3.0 mode under Netgear official driver , But can  run 3.0 mode normally under MTK' new driver.

My new computer motherboard is Asus Z170-A. Maybe this motherboard’s USB3.0 chip is ASMedia. Frequent disconnection Internet under Netgear official driver. I think the MTK'new driver on Asus Z170 -A well be as useful as my old computer。 I haven't much time to try。

        Hi yjjstc,

When you say won't run in USB 3.0, do you mean the adapter works with official firmware but only with 2.0 and not on 3.0 or you are unable to successfully install it?
