A6210 new mediatek driver

Available a new driver on the website of manufacturer of the radio chipset.
Also available for download from the site station-drivers.com

    Thanks for the heads up. Any ideas if it fixes the intermittent connection issue in Win 8?

    I've not tested these out yet myself. I spent 30 minutes or so attempting to locate a changelog to no avail. Since I've managed to (in a roundabout way) resolve my USB 3.0 issues, I'll repro that same issue in a VR and try these drivers.

      This driver seems redundant if I have A6210 Netgear genie installed.

       

      I ran a Driver Genius scan and this driver (Mediatek RT2870 Wireless Lan Card Driver) popped up to install.

      Which I did (is that an oops?)

       

      Do I need it?  is it need for my A6210 adapter?

       

      I had a A6200 adapter and this Mediatek Lan Card driver never popped up then.

      So this driver is indeed necessary OR I can uninstall it - yes?

        Hello Sethm1

         

        It shouldnt be needed if you have the netgear drivers so its up to if you want to keep it or not if its not causing any issues then I wouldnt worry about unistalling it.
