A6210 No longer connecting to 5G (Windows 10 Home Edition 64-bit)

My ASUS computer got an update to the NetGear drivers via Windows Update.  Now, I am no longer able to connect to my 5G network.  I CAN, however, connect to the 2.4G network just fine.  All my other devices (there are several) don't have this issue, only this machine, and only since the update.  I went ahead and updated to the latest drivers from your site, but to no avail. Additionally, the NetGear GENIE will not recognize the device during installation, and neither will the stand-alone installation.  However, if I cancel the installation when it fails to discover, I can connect to the 2.4G just fine.

The driver version that I have running is MediaTek 1.5.22.0

I also tried to roll back the driver to the previous version, but this didn't work either.

    I have solved the problem.

    1. Open up the Windows 10 Device Manager
    2. From the list open Network Adapters  -  Select and right click on 802.11ac Wireless LAN Card
    3. Select "Update Driver Software" and click
    4. Select “Let me pick from the list of drivers on my computer”
    5. Select the Netgear A6210 WiFi USB3.0 Adapter
    6. Then click next
    7. The driver will now re-install and you should see the message "Windows has successfully updated your driver".

This is how I solved my problem and I can now see my 5GHz SSID and connect to it
