A7000 connecting to router but not internet
Today, we got the new gigabit connection from Verizon. On my pc i use a wifi adapter, the A7000 to connect to the wifi, and when i went to connect it, it said it was connected to the router but not connected to the internet. Can anybody help me to try and fix it? Thank You

Also we got a new router for the house, it is the 6th generation for verizon routers.
- Jrmz77AspirantI have the same issue, Xfinity modem. I can connect to other signals (ATT and even hotspots) but not the Xfinity one.
- MyWifiBroke18InitiateI am having the same issue. When I connect to my XB7 xfinity router with my A7000 WiFi adaptor, it can secure the network but it doesn’t connect to the internet.
- MyWifiBroke18InitiateI’m also able to connect to hotspots, just not this connection.
- DeemurkAspirantAlso having the same issue
Worked flawlessly on my older gateway with xfinity
Just updated to gig internet instead of the 300mbps and the new xb7 gateway and POOF! No internet buddy! Congratulations idiot!
And of course Netgear support is nowhere to be found and xfinity says nothing wrong with our stuff we are perfect has to be crappy netgear. I’m sure we’ll get the same runaround from N.G. As well.
I think we all either need to spend even more money on another usb dongle or try Uninstalling/reinstalling drivers. Somehow in the transition something happened inside the guts of the N.G. Dongle and won’t fully connect to internet anymore with xfinity - RamX3Aspirant
Did this question ever get answered? I am having the same issues.
- HellppppppppAspirantI've had this problem before but usually it just fixes itself however this time it has persisted for over 10 hours my adapter connects to my router but no internet but it works completely fine on my hot spot I have put well over 2 hours of my time looking it up and troubleshooting and nothing. I've had this problem before ....Which problem is that? This is an 18-month old conversation that has covered various issues.
There is also a good chance that the official support team is busily monitoring new conversations and may miss your addition to this one.
If you do want help with your problem, check previous stuff that may be related then start your own discussion.
If you do decide to ask a question, you should provide more details and your own version of the information that the forum suggests that you provide. You could also tell people a bit more about this bit:
....my adapter connects to my router but no internetWhat does "no internet" mean?
You connect something (what?) to something (what?) and you get some sort of error messages from something or other?
As you can see, there are lots of gaps in the information you have provided.
