Including netsh wlan start hostednetwork? Everything works for me up to that point. Trying to actually start the network retuns the error I posted in the OP.
If you can start your hosted network, what driver are you on? Does your Device Manager show Microsoft Hosted Network Virtual Adapter AND Microsoft Hosted Network Virtual Adapter #2 or is there just one (make sure to go View --> Show Hidden Devices to see the virtual devices)? Is the AC6210 your only adapter? If not, are your others disabled?
I've tried everything I can think of to get this working. There must be a reason this works on your machine but not mine (assuming it does).
