From Wi Fi to ethernet

Good morning all, pretty new in this community

I have a question for you, finishing my new house (pretty full of domotics) I found out of a needs not hilighted before by the supplier, the need is to move a Wi Fi signal into ethernet and move the data up into the house  40mts far away, the data need to arrive in pretty good conditions as they will be used by a unit deciding in real time which power source use (Solar, Nationale) and / or whcih appliances con go on and which one need to be switched off. As per the above, I'm not sure if only the adapter XAVB5401 is enough or if I need something else and more. Could you pls suggest me what's the best? thank you very much for any answer will arrive.

Have a good day.

Domenico

Could you tell us more about the device which creates the data, e.g. is it an Access Point, Wireless Router, WiFI client? Do you know the model number and manufacturer of the device?

Are you wanting to bridge that 40m distance wirelessly or using Ethernet cable. Will the device at the house be inside the house e.g. near a window?

As far as I am concerned the eth cable will allways overpower WI-Fi!

My choice order is cable, wifi and PLC!
