Getting WG311v2 to work on Windows 10 64-bit

Hello, I am trying to get the WG311v2 PCI card to work on Windows 10 64-bit. So far, I've tried the latest driver version 2.0.0.7 but didn't work. I also tried using the compatabilty option in Windows 10 with various OS flavors (XP, Vista..) but didn't work. I've even tried the v3 driver executable mentioned in another thread with Vista mode - this didn't work either. Any of you know if this card can work with Windows 10?? How?? Thanks.

The design of this card is at least 16 years old. It does not support 5 GHz, among other shortcomings.

The card is many generations of Windows in the past. It is from the XP era. Before Vista, Windows 7, 8 and 10.

My experience is that Windows 10 comes with its own drivers for much of the legacy hardware it supports.

For a few £$€ you can buy a USB adapter that will not eat up a slot in your PC.
