Hi jithins,
Welcome to Community!
Is the device connected at the back of your computer? Try to connect it in another USB port(in front if there is) or try to use the USB cradle and check the temperature of the device and if you still have disconnection.

Hi jithins,
We can provide exact temperature for the unit but if you think it is not the normal temperature like it was before then it might be a hardware issue.

If you have a USB port in the front panel of your computer, please try to connect it and check if the same temperature. If it still has the same temperature and also you have tried connecting it on different computers, please check the warranty of your device. NETGEAR has 90 days phone support and 1 year hardware warranty from the date of purchase. You may need to contact support team for hardware issue.
