NETGEAR A6200 Wireless USB Adapter not working for Linux?

I have recently gotten a new desktop and instead of connecting an ethernet cable I got the NETGEAR A6200 Wireless USB Adapter to connect to my router. Everything was fine using Windows 7, but my computer would constantly go unresponsive at random times and I've always wanted to try Linux so I dual booted Linux Ubuntu 14.04.1 along side Windows 7, but it won't connect to the internet. I am fairly new to Linux, but going through the terminal it does recognize a "NetGear, Inc." when i do "lsusb". Is there something I could do to fix this?

  • Hi,
Do you have and installed Linux driver? Every device in Linux needs Linux driver. Check out Ubuntu user community to see if any driver is available.
