OK, really ODD, today it shows 866Mbps as the connection speed? Nothing was changed, on the router or adapter?
We did start having complete internet dropouts (both wired and wireless connection) yesterday. This morning I re-booted the router before we booted the computers? Maybe that 'fixed' it? We'll see...
Still isn't the max. (1300Mbps) one can reach, but above the 600Mbps the lower 5Ghz speed can be set too. Computer and Router (R7000) are in the same room 12 feet apart. The adapter is on the desk near the monitor. Router is near 2 modems, one phone, the other internet. Possible that re-positioning might improve speed?
