Unable to display dialog box. Setup cancelled.

Hello,

 

I just purchased a N900 WiFi USB adapter and I'm having trouble installing it. After I run the installation cd and select setup, I get the option to check online for updates or to install from the cd. 

 

If if I choose to check online for updates I get the following error "ERROR: Could not read control file on NETGEAR server."

 

If I choose to install from the cd I get the following error "Unable to display dialog box. Setup canceled." 

 

I Tried googling this and was unable to find a solution. Any help on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Javierbc,

     

    1. What is the OS version of your computer?

    2. Try to install using the driver found in support site (support.netgear.com).
