Wifi USB Adapter for Linux (Mint)

Hi all,

I live in Australia and am in need of a Wifi USB adapter for Linux (Mint). I am a Junior Linux user so would be great if it works out of the box. But I do know how to use the terminal if needs be.

Cheers

Andy

I have used several models of Panda WiFi-USB adapters on Mint Linux.  The major consideration appears to be whether monitor mode is a requirement.  If not, my guess is that almost any WiFi adapter will work. (If you are not sure what monitor mode means, then it is probably not a requirement.)

Just purchase one from a vendor that has a liberal return policy, such as Amazon, Best Buy,  etc.

Perhaps check the Mint user forums?
