Windows 10 (A6100 A6200 A6210) Installation Heads Up

For problems with the windows 10 included driver with the a6210 (e.g. no 5ghz networks visible) just use the latest driver from mediatek (5.1.21.0).
It is the newer version of the driver that came with windows 10 and with it i can join my 5ghz wlan, which wasnt able with the old one!
The chip in the A6210 is a Mediatek MT7612U.
UMDTERPS, This user of an A6210 has found a working solution. I have posted a few times in this thread how i was able to resolve my issues with the wifi adapter. I found that the most current MediaTek driver, and some changes to the adapter properties in the driver settings have me working flawlessly. I can't speak for everyone, but I was able to resolve the problem and have shared this information in this forum thread.

I'm using those with an intel setup.
As I wrote, it mostly works, but after hours of use, it starts dropping packets, which a reboot fixes.
Gonna return it if better drivers doesn't get released soon. I simply want no BS with my hardware.
I cant afford to have dropped packs with the stuff I'm doing. When I spend a fair amount of money on a product I expect it work without a a bunch of workarounds. I did a little research a most of the ASUS units work on Windows 10 and have Windows 10 native drivers out. Looks like ASUS did their job and was prepared unlike NETGEAR. It's not like NETGEAR just found out that Windows 10 just came out. Windows 10 was released a year and a half ago for testing.
I'm going to make a trip to Microcenter this weekend.

Above poster is correct. They had load of time to correct these issues.
If people could follow the steps detailed in post 58 and let us know if that’s successful or not that would be most helpful.
