WNA1100 keeps disconnecting in Windows 10

I have this adapter since windows 7 and was working great. After upgrading to windows 10, it starts disconnecting under heavy load or torrenting. I try updating the drivers for it but each time the driver install finish and i plug the adapter back in, it seems to use the default windows driver. I go into device manager to check the driver details, it shows "Athenos Communications" and the driver date is 2010. Is this the latest driver information from netgear? What should i be seeing in driver details for this adapter when viewing it in device manager so i know the drivers are installed correctly?

I tried reinstalling the driver multiple times and the device just disconnects under highload with windows 10. Couldn't get it to work properly after a week so decided to use a cable and no problems now. This device is probably outdated or it just doesnt work well with windows 10.
