WNA3100 constantly disconnecting on Windows 10

Step 1:Go to "Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Power Options > Change Plan Settings > Change Advanced Power Settings".Step 2:Expand "Wireless Adaptor Settings > Power Saving Mode" and make sure it is set to "Maximum Performance".Step 3:Expand "USB Settings > USB Selective Suspend Settings" and change Setting to "Disabled".
JamesGL seems to have moved on, but to answer his previous questions: I have two Windows 10 PCs, and both are experiencing this issue. I have done multiple driver uninstall / reinstalls and updates, both through Windows' Update Driver wizard and manually using the drivers downloaded from Netgear's site.

I have the same exact issue, WNA3100 with windows 10 keeps disconnecting.
I tried to change usb power settings, port, usb 2.0, usb 3.0, with extension usb cable, without cable...
no way. it keeps disconnecting. Can you help me too?
I had modems that worked fine with Win 10 until Microsoft did a critical update on the 29th I believe, after that they would not work and the setup disk said it did not support my operating system any longer, so I went to Best Buy and asked the guy what modem card would work with Win 10 and he suggested the WNA3100 adapter and ever since I've installed it it's had the same problem of dropping the internet connection like every 5-10 minutes, then comes back on for 5-10 minutes, it's crazy. I want a constant connection and my driver is up to date. The only thing I changed was the "let Windows decide to turn this hardware off to conserve resources", I thought that would help and it has not. I really need help now. I subscribe to movie viewing services and can't watch them.

Go to Netgears download drivers and there's a 2.2.0.5 and a 2.2.0.4 (both stand alone and Genie), I downloaded them all. Then I uninstalled the current driver 2.2.0.4 from my computer through the control panel. I tried the 2.2.05 first but it didn't fix the problem, so I uninstall it. But then I installed the 2.2.0.4 that I downloaded from their server and installed both. The stand alone driver vs the Genie seems to have fixed the problem. I haven't had a dropped connection in four hours. Good luck.

I didn't get any private message... can you please check?
N300 WNA3100 usb adapter will not even find any wireless. Tried Genie, tried removing drivers, reboot computer, reinstall, nothing works.
New drivers downloaded, today, did all the steps, even tried the windows drivers only. Nothing. It is deaf and blind.
Windows 10 computer.
Dlink adapter works fine.
Netgear is quickly losing a customer here, and I am pretty vocal, so I will be telling everybody about how poorly Netgear works.
