WNA3100 (N300) PC WIFI adapter driver doesn't work
So I recently upgrade to Windows 10, I brought the N300 PC wifi adapter. I downloaded the driver from the website http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/29490/~/netgear-product-support-for-microsoft-windows-10#win10_adapters
it says that WNA3100 lastest driver VERSION 2.2.0.4 supports WINDOWS 10 (http://support.netgear.com/product/WNA3100), but when I downloaded it, and then followed the direction installing it. After I installed it, the "NETGEAR WNA3100 genie" just won't open. I don't understand, on the website it said that it SUPPORTS WINDOWS 10, but after i download it, it won't do a thing.
Can some one please help me with this? I really need internet to work on my pc. My house doesn't have ethernet cables the only way I get internet access is Verizon Hotspot.

Hope you get an answer on this post. I've seen several people post issues with the drivers for the WNA3100 and Windows 10, but the only solution given by Netgear is "uninstall / reinstall / disable firewall & anti-virus" and, when the poster reports that this doesn't work, the thread just dies.
The drivers for the WNA3100 seem to have been produced prior to the full release of Windows 10 - v2.2.0.4, which is the most up to date version, has a date of 13 March 2015, and the release date of Windows 10 was 29 July 2015. There definitely seems to be a problem with this driver and so the only way forward I can see is for a new driver to be written and tested with the current release version of Win 10.
