WNA3100 wifisvc.exe keeps stopping
I have a Windows 7 Pro PC (Acer) where it keeps falling off the network with 'wifisvc.exe has stopped' in the event log. Any idea how I can resolve this? [I'm unable to enter anything in the Model box...

Hi sescabit,
Please try to uninstall the adapter and reinstall using the drivers found in support site.

Yes, I'd already decided to try this. I'll thoroughly clean out the existing installation then try a fresh install. No guarantee that it will resolve the problem, but it's pretty much my only option.
What I don't understand is why the picture on the download page shows the older, bigger WNA1100 adapter rather than the stubby N300 adapter. Is the software the same?

Hi sescabit,
They have the same design but the page is for WNA3100.

Thanks James, but I decided to use the software for the smaller WNA3100M, which has a different (lower) version number. I also discovered that I had two separate versions of the software installed, so I removed everything before reinstalling. Fingers crossed that it will be stable from now on. Thanks for your help.
