WNDA3100v3 on Windows 10
Hello,
I bought a WNDA31000v3 adapter after reading on Netgear support that it would work with Windows 10.
My WN111 was not reconnecting after sleep and on start up. It would work if you reconnected ever time and stay working.
So uninstalled it and installed the new one with the WNDA3011v3_v1.0.0.10 software.
It will connect and show a red light but will not recieve an IP address and will not go on the internet.
After reinstalls, rebooting PC and my router and my cable modem I have come to the conclusion that this adapter will not work with Windows 10.
Anyone have this or tried this or have it working ?
It acts the same if I go through the extender or go straight to the router.
Lenovo 7483 PC
Router WNDR3400v2
Extender WN3000RP

Hi DrLove38
Please try to install the driver manually. But first, remove the installed drivers and software.
1. Install the WNDA3011v3_v1.0.0.10 software.
2. Once installed, manually update driver software. Open Device Manager , select the WNDA3011v3, right click , select Update Driver Software.
3. Choose Browse my computer for driver software
4. Choose Let me Pick from a list of device drivers on my computer
5. Select the one with NETGEAR INc.

An update on my wireless issues.
I gave up on the WNDA3100v3 and returned it. Maybe a little too soon.
I followed the instructions JamesGL gave me with no luck so I reinstalled the WN111v2 per those same instructions and still no luck.
For some reason I took the PC into my office and uninstalled the Netgear software and plugged into ethernet.
I thought their may be some Microsoft updates since that PC had not been connected to internet for a few days.
The updates were for Windows Defender.
So while still connected to ethernet I followed JamesGL's instructions except using software for the Wn111v2 and guess what, it came up.
I disconnected the ethernet and pulled a 40 meg speedtest with the old adapter.
Took PC back to garage and tested it out. Turns out that the Smart Wizard was acting very bad. It would not keep profiles or save info. So I went to start up and disabled it and restarted. The PC connected without a hitch and has been through several restarts and shutdowns.
I don't know what plugging into ethernet had to do with things but it found something it liked.
I would suggest people having trouble with their adapters get on the internet and try.
One more thing the drop down list of drivers looked like the same ones I had been using.
