WNDA4100 USB adapter "is not found"
I finally got a computer that I built working. The only problem is that it needs to connect to the internet and the motem and such is across the house. We were told that we can get this and install it and plug it in so that we can connect to our wifi. I follow the instructions regarding installation and I get prompted to plug in the adapter. When I do so, a pop up comes up saying that the "adapter is not found." I've tried plugging it in to all of my USB slots with and without the adapter cradle and it still can not be found. I've tried restarting the computer and trying again but it still cannot be detected.
My computer has Windows 7 and an Intel Core i3 processor. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you install driver for that adapter? You said you assembled your own computer so I guess you ought know about any adapter needs driver to work. In your case W7 compatible one. And
don't forget to set it up to connect to your router wirelessly and onto Internet.
