AC1200 Netgear to netgear Nighthawk Ex7300
I have the AC1200 Netgear installed and I want to replace it with the Nighthawk do I have to delete the AC1200 before I install the Nighthawk?

If you are just replacing it then no your just need to setup the new Nighthawk Ex7300.

You would have to factory reset the extender if you are adding a new router.

Maybe I did not clearly ask the question, I want to replace the AC1200 with the Nighthawk. I am a novice at this computer stuff so I am not sure what you mean by doing a reset. Could please explain what a reset is. Thanks
