AC1900 extender connection problem
My old AC1900 and AC1200 extenders will not allow my WiFi devices to connect, after CenturyLink installed a new modem router: C4000BZ. I am able to get the extenders connected to the CenturyLink, but I get “unable to join” when I try to connect any device. I’ve tried multiple IPhones and laptops, but I get the same result. I know the AC extenders are no longer supported, but they should still work, right? I’m on DSL because that’s all that’s available.

It would be helpful to have the actual model number that is printed on the product label. (Network equipment manufacturers like to assign "speed labels" to products, such as AC1900. It is the actual product number that useful.)
It is often a good practice when network equipment changes to do a Factory Reset on your equipment and then go through the connection process from scratch.

Thanks for responding. Here are the model numbers:
AC1900= EX7000
AC1200= EX6200
I did factory resets several times with the same result.

What security mode do you have set on the C4000 ISP router?
First try no security temporarily to see if any of the extenders will connect in the open.
Then Set WPA2 and either TPIK or AES, AES would be preferred.Set manual channels 1 and 40 on the ISP Router as well.
