AC750 EX3700 Password Incorrect Issue
Hi all, seems to be common issue, seeking a legend with a solution! After linking via WPS, I have 2G + 5G EXT networks on my devices. However on multiple devices, always get 'Incorrect Password' when trying to connect. I am using the exact p/w as that of my Vodafone WiFi Hub router.
Checked / tried so far:
- Router light Green solid so connection is there
- Factory Reset (multiple times)
- Changed password on the Wifi router / hub,
- Tried alternative passwords such as original wifi router password
- Checked router set to WPA + WPA2
The device light does turn green, but then the incorrect password error occurs and the connection fails.
Anyone got any other ideas?? Many thanks!!

Did you try installing using the installation assistant and NOT wps?

Hi plemans , thanks for replying. Do you mean the browser setup via the manual? If so, it doesn't look like I can do that without first having connected to either of the EXT networks (unless i'm mistaken)?
Or is the installation assistant something else that i've not factored? If so, where do I find the details for it?

You do need to either be connected via wifi or using an ethernet wire to use the installation assistant.
But if you've already used wps, you'd need to factory reset to get back to the defaults to use the installation assistant.
You can factory reset by pushing reset for 7-15 seconds while its powered on.
